About us

We read the pricing page so you don't have to.

EveryPerk is an independent review site covering SaaS and developer tools. Each review pulls together what a tool costs, what it does well, where it breaks down, and who it actually suits, in one page you can read in ten minutes.

How it works

Evaluation takes too long

Picking a tool means reading a marketing page that avoids naming a price, a docs site that assumes you already committed, and a pile of forum threads from three versions ago. Most of that work gets repeated by every team that evaluates the same product.

We do that legwork once and write it down. Reviews are compiled from primary sources: official pricing and documentation, published changelogs, and publicly reported user experience. Where a claim comes from the vendor rather than independent testing, we say so in the review.

Editorial standards

What you can hold us to

Research led

Every review starts with the vendor's own docs, pricing page, changelog, and status history, then gets checked against what users report in public.

Pricing first

We list what a tool actually costs, including the parts buried under 'contact sales'. Where pricing changes, we date the review so you know how fresh it is.

Disclosed

Affiliate links are labelled on the page they appear, not hidden in a footer. You always know when a link earns us something.

Cons included

Every review lists where a tool falls short. If a product is wrong for most people, the review says so, commission or not.

Scoring

What the number means

Scores are editorial judgement, not an average of user ratings. They weigh four things: how well the product does its core job, how honest and predictable the pricing is, how good the documentation and support are, and how easily you could leave if you needed to.

A score above 4.5 means we would recommend it without much hesitation. Between 4.0 and 4.5 means it is strong but has a real trade-off worth understanding first. Below 4.0 means it only makes sense for a specific use case, which the review will name.

Reviews carry the date they were last checked. Pricing moves fast, so if a review looks stale, verify on the vendor's site before you commit and let us know at hello@everyperk.com.

Affiliate disclosure

How we make money

EveryPerk takes part in affiliate programmes with some of the tools we cover, through networks including Impact and PartnerStack as well as direct vendor programmes. If you sign up for a paid plan after following one of our links, we may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it is often the only way this site earns anything.

A commission opportunity does not change a score or a verdict. Some of the tools we rate highest pay us nothing, and some tools we have criticised do run affiliate programmes. Where a product is the wrong choice, the review says so.

Affiliate links are marked on the page where they appear, and every review page carries a disclosure above the content rather than only in the footer.
